Compliant by default
Every roadbook you generate satisfies both Motorsport Australia and AMSAG requirements at once — the rules are baked into how the document renders, so it is right the first time and stays right as you edit. We take the superset: wherever the two differ, we apply the stricter.
On every instruction page
Total, Partial, Tulip, Information and REV (reverse cumulative distance) — REV always rendered, meeting the stricter AMSAG rule.
Restarts at (1) after every Time Control, with separating lines added as you place waypoints.
Boxes under 200 m aren’t separated by a line; under 100 m they merge into one instruction and tulip, e.g. “TR 50m KR”.
The maximum on a special stage — enforced automatically.
The metres from a Time Control to the stage start are written into that TC’s information box.
Control locations are shown at the start and finish of every stage.
Tulips and surfaces
Begin at the black dot, drawn on a vertical vector, with direction-of-travel arrows on the stage maps.
The tulip column is shaded on special stages, per MA.
The rule between Tulip and Information marks the surface — black for gravel, white for sealed — set per box with a click, in the MA-compliant position.
Both an instruction and a tulip for competitive and transport stages, with the written form taking precedence.
Page geometry and typography
Left margin ≥ 15 mm; all other margins ≥ 5 mm.
Every page consecutively numbered in the right-hand corner.
The largest practical typeface, and stage name, distance and time allowed on every page — not just the first.
GPS as degrees and decimal minutes on WGS84 / GDA94.
Speeding-penalty warning first, then the itinerary, overall map, symbol legend, emergency and Red Flag procedures, services list and event contacts.
A cover page with the stage map, name and number, followed by the instruction pages.
Incident, inquiry and withdrawal forms, the AMSAG Accident Procedure, and the OK / SOS signs — sized to spec.
